Jacques Farran

After studying law at the University of Montpellier and the Sorbonne, Jacques Farran graduated from the École du Louvre specializing in contemporary art. He continued his training in Montpellier, at Drouot and then in Normandy with Lydie Brioult. In Vernon-Giverny, his first feat of arms was to identify the mysterious signature of a painting deposited by its owner for a few hundred euros. This work was appraised and then recognized as being by Constantin Korovine and made headlines in the press with a spectacular auction of 560,000 euros.

After graduating at the top of his class, he joined the prestigious firm of Aymeric and Philippe Rouillac, with whom he shared the same love of treasure hunting. During these three years of discoveries of all kinds, world records and appraisal tours in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, he rediscovered a Florentine primitive by Jacopo di Cione in Montpellier, a painting by Charles Hossein Zenderoudi in Aniane, and in Narbonne, letters from the family of Monaco that have now returned to the principality's collections.

Passionate about painting, contemporary art and primitive arts, in love with watches and great wines, he decided in 2022 to return to the land of his ancestors, where the brushes of the greatest intermingle with the rays of the sun.

Julie Le Brun

Having begun her training by studying law in Toulon, Julie Le Brun excelled at the École du Louvre in the history of decorative arts. As part of a master's degree in museology, she published a research paper on the ceramist Auguste Delaherche. In 2017, she joined the Master's degree in Art Market and Artistic Heritage Law at the Université Panthéon-Assas.

Having passed the auctioneer's exam, she puts her rigor and her eye at the service of the auction houses Leclere, Cornette de Saint-Cyr, Morand & Morand and Guillaume le Floc'h. Julie Le Brun, who has professional experience with Yves-Saint-Laurent, takes as much care in describing objects as she does in showcasing them through catalogs and displays that bring together the best of the art market and haute-couture.

Passionate, she is animated by different and complementary domains of her partner: jewelry, design, furniture and art objects.
